Nature
Growing up in the Downs around Lewes, and travelling extensively from North Africa to the Himalayas, nature (or Nature) and how we interact with it has always been central to my work.
Drawings
Light and Dark have fascinated me throughout my artistic development and life journey. Drawing, particularly in monochromes, cuts through the noise and confusion of creativity.
Mandalas
Inspired in part by Karl Jung's premise of encouraging people to capture their inner life within a circle, a significant part of my work uses the form of East Asian Mandala to explore subjects such as cultural interconnectivity and humanity's impact on the planet, while alsp exploring my fascination with indigenous cultures around the world
Computer Art
Photographic manipulation allows me to explore form, function and emotion from a decidedly technological perspective, a development of the classical analog photographic form.
Mixed Media
Mixed media pieces, ultimately using found materials to comment on the consumerist nature of society
